lbptousd.com is a free, independent currency converter and information site focused on the Lebanese Pound (LBP) and its exchange rates against the US Dollar and other major currencies (EUR, GBP, CAD).

What we track

The site shows the day-to-day Buy and Sell market rates used by currency exchange houses across Lebanon. It previously also showed a separate official/central-bank rate; we simplified the live tool to focus on the market rate only. We cover how Lebanon's official and market rates differ historically in this guide.

How the market rate is maintained

The market rate is checked against multiple independent public sources on a schedule and updated automatically when they agree; it can also be corrected by hand at any time. Either way, the "updated" timestamp on each rate card tells you exactly how recent the figure is.

This site is not affiliated with Banque du Liban, any Lebanese bank, or any money-transfer service. Rates are provided for general informational purposes only and should not be treated as a firm quote — always confirm the current rate directly with your bank or exchange provider before completing a transaction.
